Sparrow-like Windows email client Mailbird has been updated to version 2.0 with a range of new and enhanced features.
Smarter email management tools include the ability to drag and drop any email conversation to a folder, a trash button for one-click deletion, and – in the $6/ year Pro version – the option to Snooze an email and deal with it later.
The Contacts Manager is no longer just a simple list of people you’ve emailed: you can manually add or remove contacts, import from vCard, organise contacts into groups and more.
Mailbird integrates with Facebook, WhatsApp and many other websites and services
Improved touch support means you can now swipe an email to archive or move it.
The “Smart Notification Center” offers tips to help you get the most from Mailbird, and if that’s not enough the improved Help system is now just a click away.
All this comes presented in a clean new interface which is now more customisable then ever: you can change layout, colours, fonts, zoom factor and more.
Mailbird 2.0 is free for Windows 7.0 and later.
